Discipleship Classes
Discipleship classes at MCB Church are designed to deepen believers' understanding of the Christian faith and equip them for a life of discipleship. These classes cover a range of topics including biblical foundations, spiritual disciplines, evangelism, and practical Christian living. Through interactive teaching and discussion, participants grow in their relationship with God, learn how to apply biblical principles to their daily lives, and are encouraged to serve others in their community. These classes provide a supportive environment for believers to ask questions, wrestle with challenging topics, and develop a strong foundation for their spiritual journey.
Water Baptism
Water baptism holds significant importance at MCB Church as it symbolizes a believer’s spiritual rebirth and commitment to their faith. One must be a born-again believer and attend a baptism class prior to being baptized. Baptism is a public declaration of one’s decision to follow Jesus Christ, signifying a cleansing from sin and a new life in Christ. It’s a profound act of obedience to Jesus’ command, marking the new beginning of a journey of discipleship within the Christian community.
Bible Institute
Our Bible Institute courses at MCBC are offered through NYIBS during the spring and fall semesters, with each course running approximately 7 weeks. Classes are taught by Pastor Andrew on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM at the church and are also available on Zoom for added flexibility. These courses are designed to help you grow deeper in your understanding of God’s Word through structured teaching and discussion. Whether you choose to take a course for credit or simply audit, the Bible Institute provides a meaningful opportunity to strengthen your faith and biblical knowledge.
Tuesday Teachings
Our Tuesday Morning Teachings begin at 10:00 AM and focus on a variety of relevant, topical studies designed to encourage and equip you in your daily walk with God. Join Pastor Andrew Columbia as he shares practical, Bible-based insights in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It’s a great opportunity to grow in faith, connect with others, and be refreshed midweek.
